Creativity Is China’s Weakness

Creative thinking is China’s weakness and America’s strength.

But it’s hard to believe that rote learning and apathy is going to last forever.  China has 500 million Internet users, the second largest app market, and a burst of microblogs.

The abundance of information across blogs, forums, and social networks will influence the Chinese to invent all kinds of stuff.  Many Chinese aspire to be the next Steve Jobs.

China is a land of contradictions, arguably more ‘exceptional’ than the United States.
