It was only a matter of time before someone saw the daylight.
I’ve been asking this question for years: Which company was going to break into China’s mobile music scene first?
88tc88 that’s who.
For $50, you can sign up and distribute all your music through China’s major mobile carriers and reach just as many people that live in the United States.
Previously, it was virtually impossible to make a legitimate music business in China. I went to China in 1999 in the heyday of the CD format and didn’t see one record store.
However, don’t expect a payout. Don’t expect the rural farmer to know who you are. Don’t expect the rich city folk with computer and Internet access to know anything about you either; even if they do, they will probably steal it.
The Internet is making it possible to spread into China but not everybody is ready and willing to put in the work. Kudos to 88tc88. The team did their homework and cut the deals.
